Volleyball is a very popular sport here at Waitakere College both socially and competitively.

Each year the school enters between 4-6 volleyball teams in the various competitions throughout Auckland:

Senior Boys Volleyball  - Auckland Premier Competition
Senior Girls Volleyball - Central/West Competition
Junior Boys Volleyball - Central/West Competition
Junior Girls Volleyball - Central/West Competition
Senior Girls 2 Volleyball - West Competition
Junior Girls 2 Volleyball - West Competition

Each year we also send teams to the Auckland Volleyball Championships. Recently our Senior Boys team finished in the top 8 at the Auckland Champs meaning they qualified for the Auckland Premier Boys Competition.

Volleyball is a summer sport and the fee for volleyball is $20. 

We have a number of staff who coach or manage our volleyball teams.
