In March the Auckland Dragon Boat regionals are held at Lake Pupuke. It is one of the events that completes the senior summer sporting calendar and always a lot of fun had by all.

A dragon boat consists of 20 paddlers and who are committed to training twice a week over February and early March.

Fees: $50
Paddlers must be able to swim at least 50m
