Careers Guidance
The careers team help our students as they make decisions for the future. Each term they visit a different year group to provide career information. Our major focus is on option choosing and individual interviews with our year 13’s to support decision-making about life beyond school. We also look after scholarships.
Students are offered help with CVs, any online applications, paper and online resources, Studylink and all parts of the University application process.
The Careers department organise a Term 3 Futures Expo for our seniors to coincide with option choices. ITO’s, the Health Board, the Defence Force, Police and tertiary providers all come along to show our students what is available beyond school. Careers are very involved with our CSI (course selection) interviews with all Year 11s and 12s and visit Year 10s to help with their Year 11 option choices.
To see us students can come in to book a time or email us either to ask a question or for a booking. Contact Mark Sizer [email protected]
