Waitākere College was privileged to hold the local Western Zone Primary School Rugby Tournament, hosted by the Auckland Rugby Union.
The tournament has been in hiatus due to the Covid 19 Pandemic and it was great to see the primary school boys and girls, along with their coaches, teachers, whānau and friends enjoying the fine weather and some great running rugby.
A big thank you to the following boys from our U15 Rugby team who did a fantastic job refereeing the matches throughout the tournament. Junior Afeaki, Noah Buckleigh-Dickson, Elijah Chou-Lee, Traedyn Christiansen, Zenon Latimer, David Schuster, Cohan Tamainu, Yadan Tautaiolevao and Tony Ese. We look forward to hosting the 2023 tournament.
