You will see a new face at Reception as Liza has moved to the Resource room we now welcome Elizabeth Brown to the team.

"I'm a mother of four who have all gone through Waitākere College, - my youngest being year 13 this year.
I've been employed as part of the Front Office Team and am looking forward to being part of a great team.
I enjoy reading and gardening and attending my children's sporting events."

Joined our team this term as the new Science Technician, she is also a fantastic artist, as seen in her pencil drawing of everyone's favourite pink-haired Queen of Science Siouxsie Wiles.

"I am a mum to two (mostly) lovely teens and am joining Waitakere College as the science lab technician. I was a primary school teacher many years ago and have a varied background which includes working in hospital sterilising departments and operating theatres. For the last four years, I have worked at Rocket Lab as part of the mechanical production team, setting up and running the LOx (liquid oxygen) Cleanroom and acid passivation process. As well as science nerding, my favourite things are to draw, paint and make. I’m thrilled to be back in a school community and looking forward to lots of creative adventures in the science department."
