We ended Term 2 with our blessing and opening of the Front Entrance of the School with our Inclusion Support Centre (ISC) Te Rangimarie, and began Term 3 with our Open Evening acknowledging the year 8 students, family and whanau for 2021.

The blessing with the ISC family and whanau signals that our school has now reduced the physical barriers that existed for any student and family to feel welcome into our College. Students and whanau can now park at the front of the school and have easy access to the front office while remaining dry for the first time in 45 years.

This work on reducing barriers has been repeated throughout the College in our corridors, doorways, accounts area, stage access, turf and gym and within a year smooth access to the auditorium. Our school is a richer place for ensuring we reduce barriers to ensure all students feel included in their education journey.
