What does it take to be the best? Ask these students who rank among the top 3% in their respective subjects.
We wish to congratulate our eight students who achieved twelve NZQA Academic Scholarships during last year's National Scholarship Exams.
To receive a New Zealand Scholarship, students must complete either a written/spoken examination or submit a portfolio (or report) of work completed throughout the year. Winning even one of these scholarships takes serious hard work and dedication, which is why it’s incredible that many of our students have received two or more scholarships.
These exams were held across the nation, so our students had to compete against students who had minimal school learning disruption last year, making this even more of an achievement. It is a great credit to them as individuals, their teachers who ensured they reached the level of excellence, and of course, their families who helped them navigate through last year.
They should be proud of this achievement due to all the hard work and sacrifice they put in despite the disruptions of 2021.
Congratulations to all our winners!
