Ronnie Mann, a former student at Waitākere College and one of our head prefects of 2021, has embarked on an exciting new chapter in his career. After successfully completing his Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts degree last year, he has taken on the role of a travelling actor for Duffy Tours, bringing the joy of reading to primary school students across New Zealand.
Since November, Ronnie has been part of an inspiring initiative that involves two groups of actors travelling from the North Cape to the Bluff. Their mission? To spread the powerful message that “It’s Cool to Read and Cool to Achieve” to tens of thousands of Duffy kids. This well-loved program visits over 500 schools each year, captivating young audiences with a 50-minute live show that has become a staple in many school calendars.
Congratulations Ronnie!
