For the second consecutive year, our Achievers Celebration was held over two evenings. An extraordinary reflection of the growing number of students reaching new heights in academic excellence. This event was a powerful recognition of the dedication, perseverance, and hard work demonstrated by our students, their whānau and staff.
For 2024, we proudly celebrated 516 students who achieved NCEA Levels One and Two, with 115 earning Merit Endorsements and 54 receiving Excellence Endorsements - a testament to their commitment to learning and striving for success.
Wednesday’s (26/02) celebration honoured our Year 13 students for their outstanding NCEA Level Two achievements in 2024. We were privileged to welcome back our Scholarship alumni students, Ula Leitu and Christina Pritchard, who helped present the awards - symbolising the strong connections and ongoing success of our graduates.
Thursday’s ceremony recognised the success of our Year 12 students in their endeavours in NCEA Level One achievement, celebrating not just their academic accomplishments but also their dedication to continuous learning and personal growth.
A heartfelt ngā mihi nui to our head prefects, senior deans, photographers, hall crew, and teachers, whose care and commitment ensured the success of these evenings. Your support reflects the values of Caring and Respect, which help shape the culture of excellence in our kura.
Looking ahead to 2025, we remain steadfast in fostering academic success, guided by our core values of Learning, Caring, and Respect. Congratulations again to all our achievers and their families - your hard work inspires us all, and we look forward to celebrating even greater successes in the future.
