Congratulations to Matauranga House for winning the Junior House Shield for 2024! 

They secured victory by just one point over Manawanui, thanks to their outstanding House Haka at the Big Day In celebration on the last day of term 4. The three Houses (Aroha, Matauranga & Manawanui) compete against each other for a 100-point bonus on the final day of school each year. After the competition, the Houses unite for an exhilarating Junior School Haka to bid farewell to departing staff and to celebrate the end of the term.

The Houses then join up for a heart stopping Junior School Haka to farewell leaving staff and themselves into a safe and happy break. Leaving the College grounds with that Haka ringing in our ears and pulsing through our hearts fills us with strength and hope that the break and our return to College the next year will be exciting and filled with promise.
