Last Friday we celebrated our ISC students at our ISC celebration prizegiving for 2024. The theme for their year and for our celebration was "We are Unstoppable". During 2024 our focus has been mana motuhake, mana through self determination. 

We want our students to grow their ability to decide one's own path in life through self-reliance. We want their mantra to be “WE ARE UNSTOPPABLE.” We hope that with time and practice, they will become unstoppable in their mindset. Our students have risen to the challenge this year and wowed us with their resilience, determination, growth and many remarkable achievements. We are proud of each and every one of our students and their willingness to try, work hard and grow their belief in themselves.

Our celebration was about celebrating our students and acknowledging their growth. They are all heroes in our eyes. We can be heroes everywhere we go, keeping us down is impossible - We're unstoppable!

Noah Baker - The Fitzgibbons Entertainer of the Year Award
Max Wymer - The Emma Evans Cup for motivation and determination
Georjah Cooper - Te Rangimarie Award
Xavier Osborne - ISC Junior Trophy

Gabriel Taylor - ISC Year 13 Leavers Award

Our celebration was also an opportunity to farewell our ISC class of 2024 - Georjah Cooper, Max Esapour, Jarita Nair, Marcus Tan, Gabriel Taylor, Rosemary Tweedie and Max Wymer. We wish them well as they move on to new adventures in the community. We also thanked and farewelled Sarah Moxham who will be starting her degree in speech language pathology. We thank Sarah for the years of service, love and sunshine she has gifted to the ISC. She will be missed.
