Our annual Big Day In proved to be the ultimate celebration to conclude the school year, packed with excitement and fun.
Year 9 and 10 students enjoyed a fantastic array of activities, including an inflatable obstacle course, movies, sports, games, and opportunities to learn new skills like DJing and paper flower making, camp skills & Cook Island drumming. The day was filled with laughter, creativity, and friendly competition, offering something for everyone to enjoy.
Ice cream and ice blocks were served with lunch which was a welcome treat in the sunshine. The event concluded with the Haka competition, which our students have been practising with their houses. Congratulations to Matāuranga!

This event wouldn't have been possible without the incredible efforts of Mr Philip Brain, whose meticulous planning and dedication ensured a smooth and memorable day. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Brain for going above and beyond to make this celebration a success.
We also extend our gratitude to the teachers who shared their hobbies and skills, bringing unique and engaging activities for the students, and to the 2025 prefects, who generously gave their time to help make the day run seamlessly. Lastly, a big thank you to all the students who came to school with enthusiastic attitudes, ready to embrace the fun and create lasting memories.
