Last weekend, Georjah Cooper competed in the DSA Boccia Tournament organized by Disability Sports Auckland. Competitors from Auckland, Waikato, and Northland faced off in three competitive pools. Georjah excelled in her pool, winning a gold medal, which has boosted her confidence for her upcoming competition - the World Boccia Challenger in Bahrain, scheduled to run from November 14 to 22, 2024.
This will be Georjah's first international competition. She is currently preparing for her journey overseas, and Waitākere College wishes her all the best for this amazing experience.
