Shining a Light on Cerebral Palsy: Max Wymer's Inspiring 'Be Green & Be Seen' Campaign


Max Wymer, one of our senior students and a member of the Cerebral Palsy Society has been sharing his inspiring journey in the build-up to the Cerebral Palsy Society's campaign, "Be Green &  Be Seen", to raise awareness for those living with Cerebral Palsy in New Zealand during October. 

Did you know that every three days a baby is born in New Zealand with Cerebral Palsy – Hōkai Nukurangi? That’s around one in every 500 babies. 

Starting in infancy and lasting for life, Cerebral Palsy – Hōkai Nukurangi is the most common cause of childhood disability in this country.  There are more than 10,000 people living with Cerebral Palsy – Hōkai Nukurangi in New ZeaShining a Light on Cerebral Palsy: Max Wymer's Inspiring Journey and the 'Be Green & Be Seen' Campaignland and it affects more than 17 million people worldwide.
