It was an incredible start to Tongan Language Week with traditional celebrations, including the raising of the Fuka (Flag) and singing the fasi fakafonua (Tongan National Anthem) on the first day. Throughout the week, students created daily videos with the words of the day, and we were treated to outstanding performances by our talented tamaiki fefine (girls) and mo e fanau tangata (boys).
Not to mention, we enjoyed a variety of delicious flavoured Otais (Tongan Fruit Drinks).
