On August the 7th we held our annual senior dance showcase. This was our largest event to date with over 130 senior dance students taking the stage. As well as being a performance opportunity, this was the main assessment event for our kanikani ākonga. 

We had a packed auditorium full of whānau, kaiako and friends and we’re deeply proud of the excellent mahi that was presented. This huge cohort of dancers/choreographers successfully upheld the mana of kanikani at the college, with this learning area continuing to grow 

Huge shout to all the kaiako and students turning up to tautoko by helping behind the scenes. Especially Miss Jackson who co-produced the event so beautifully after joining the department last Term.
