Last week, we hosted our annual Open Evening, welcoming Year 8 students and their families. Prospective students enjoyed informative tours guided by our enthusiastic student tour guides. They had the chance to explore various departments, interact with teachers and students, and observe fascinating demonstrations and student projects from each subject area. The interactive activities and science experiments were a hit with both children and parents, offering Year 8 students a glimpse into life at our High School. The Food Technology department's delectable treats and the offerings from our student baristas, including hot chocolate, were definitely crowd-pleasers.
A big thank you to all our student volunteers and tour guides for their dedication and energy, we received overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents and prospective students, and we are incredibly proud of our students.
Special thanks to Mrs Hine and Mr Collins for planning and executing such a large event with many moving parts! Thank you to all staff involved on the night, this event would not be possible without your mahi and your positive impact on the school's reputation and prospective students cannot be overstated. Keep up the outstanding work!
