During the July school holidays, Georjah Cooper competed in the Wellington Regional Champs for boccia at the Akau Tangi Stadium in Kilbirnie. This was Georjah's first major boccia tournament and she worked hard to win a bronze medal. Georjah is a determined and hardworking athlete who puts in hours of training each week to prepare herself for competing. 

Georjah also coaches a group of ISC students in the sport as well. She is currently preparing for the National Boccia Tournament in Christchurch this coming October and has her sights set on competing in the Paralympics in the future.
