Senior Boys Netball Final

In a thrilling final on Tuesday night, our senior boys' netball team delivered an amazing performance that had everyone on the edge of their seats!

In previous games with Avondale, the scores were close with Game 1: 15-21, resulting in a loss by 6 points - Game 2: 26-23, resulting in a loss by 3 points - Game 3: 25-24, resulting in a loss by just 1 point.

The majority of the team are Year 13 students, and for many, this was their final opportunity to represent the school. The team played with heart and manawanui and despite the outcome, the team's effort made the entire school community proud, with emotional scenes at the end of the match.

Ngā mihi nui to all the wonderful people who braved the freezing temperatures to cheer on the team during the finals. Of the 4 available seating stands, we covered 3.5 with their teachers, peers, and parents on the court's edges. The outpouring of love and support created an electric atmosphere of aroha.

Coaches Kayla & Ruta extend their warm gratitude to everyone who has been a part of the boys' journey throughout the season. Your support has been invaluable.
