Year 10 Rumaki student Kākahu Coughlan showcased her talent at the recent South Auckland Performing Arts Competition, with her duet and vocal solo performances during the holidays. 

Competing in the 14-15 age group, Kākahu dominated the competition and won the following: 

• Young Performer Award
• Gwenneth Short Challenge Cup
• Valley Voices Vocal Recital Intermediate Young Performer
• Majors and Minors Trophy Intermediate Vocal Duet
