GUIDELINES FOR THE SCHOOL BALL 

The College Ball will be held in August, a detailed letter has been emailed to caregivers with all the relevant information of cost, date and venue.

Students must attend school on the ball date to receive their ticket and be allowed to attend the ball. They will be dismissed from school at 1.30 pm, no earlier exceptions will be made. 

The Waitākere College ball has always taken place without incident and students are reminded of the guidelines which they must adhere to.

The ball is a school function and students should conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the high standards of Waitākere College.

• This Is a formal occasion so there is a clear dress code: wear a jacket, tie, dress pants and dress shoes, or formal ball attire. Those students not appropriately dressed will not be allowed into the ball.
• There will be no After-Ball function. Anyone who organises or attends such a function will face serious disciplinary procedures from the school.

CONDITIONS:  
Students who have not fully paid their senior subject fees/ sports fees will be refused a ticket.
Students attendance must be at least 85%.
Students must not be late to school for the rest of terms 2 and 3 without a valid reason.

Tickets will be on sale until Wednesday, 14th August, after this date tickets cannot be purchased.
