Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Our annual Year 10 Camp is scheduled for the week beginning November 25th at ‘Hideaway at Flaxmill Bay’ located in Whitianga.

The purpose of our camp is to provide students with new experiences and to develop skills of personal responsibility and leadership. The activities your child will be involved in include kayaking, banana boating, archery, beach sports, swimming and cooking. We have held many successful Year 10 camps over the past years and all our students have come back with positive experiences and we would love your child to be a part of the 2024 camp.

The cost for this camp is $220. This includes mini van hireage and usage, equipment hire, water activities, accommodation and food for the duration of the camp. This cost has already been added to your child’s financial statement. If your child does not attend the camp this will be removed at the end of the year.

Numbers for the camp will be strictly limited and based on a first-in and first-served basis.
To secure your child’s spot we ask that a deposit of $40 is paid to accounts by the end of Term 2, Friday 5th July. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable as this cost goes towards booking the campground based on initial numbers expressing interest.
