Warm Greetings, I have come to Waitākere College after 9 years at De La Salle College in Mangere, where I worked as a Dean and Assistant Head of Social Sciences. I have also held teaching roles at Southern Cross Campus and Wellington Girls College. Stepping into the Assistant Principal role at Waitākere College I will be working within pastoral care, specifically focusing on relationship based learning, restorative practice and supporting the Dean team. I am enthusiastic about becoming part of the wider community at Waitākere and have experience coaching rugby and basketball and being involved in Polyfest at my previous schools. I am hoping to bring passion and energy to the role here and continue the mahi that has been done in the pastoral space.

My teaching background is in the humanities area, mostly specialising in history. I have also taught senior and junior social studies. The history of Aotearoa is my particular passion, and my postgraduate study is in cultural history. Outside of school, I am passionate about sports, enjoy walking in nature, cooking, and going to live music.
