Capturing the Beauty of the Arataki Nature Trail

On Wednesday 5th June the Year 11 Art Photography Design (APD) class visited the Arataki Visitors Centre and walked the nature trail to gather photographic research and resources to use back in the classroom.
Students have been investigating the native plants that thrive in the Waitākere Ranges intending to raise awareness and education through a visual medium. Although chilly, everyone enjoyed the peace of the bush, looking at the expansive views and spotting the beautiful Kereru, Pīwakawaka's and Tūī's that also reside there.

Keep an eye out later in the year for when students will be exhibiting their final artwork.
