This week we had a group from Te Whatu Ora visiting our school to educate students about bowel health. They brought along a large inflatable bowel and other interactive resources to teach medical science students about the importance of maintaining a healthy bowel. 

The students were shown what a healthy bowel looks like and how polyps can progress to become cancerous. One of the main goals of this event was to teach the students about the screening test and motivate them to remind their elders to take the screening test.
