Congratulations to Mahlakae Rogers who has been selected to play in the 16U National Baseball Championships that will be held in Glendowie from February 15th to 18th, 2024. National tournaments provide athletes with the opportunity to network with other players and coaches and to test their talents.

Mahlakae's club had a shortage of players to participate in the tournament, but he was lucky enough to be placed in the 16U Central Baseball Club Porirua team. Mahlakae is currently a member of Waitākere Baseball Club Incorporated, and he plays for their 16U and Premier Reserve teams.
