Last week, one of our Junior Girls Volleyball teams attended the Auckland Champs held over three days at Bruce Pulman Park in Papakura.
The team had some outstanding results to finish 8th out of 32 teams in Auckland:

Day 1 (Wed 15/11)

Lost vs Ormiston Junior College 0 - 2
WON vs Aorere 2 - 0
WON vs Papakura 2 - 1 (made top 16)

Day 2 (Th 16/11)

Won vs Sancta Maria 2-1 (made top 8)
Lost 0-2 vs Rangitoto (¼ final)

Day 3 (Fri 17/11)

Lost 0-2 Henderson
Lost 1-2 Ormiston Junior College.
Final result 8th in division 1 out of 32 teams.

 A big thank you goes to coach Mr Rangiwheu for all his work with the team this year and for allowing the girls the experience of attending the Auckland Championships.
