Mathex 2023

On 23 August, Mrs Catchpole and Mrs Duvenage took fifteen Year 9 and 10 students to the Auckland Mathematical Association's Mathex competition held at the Barfoot and Thompson Stadium in Kohimarama. This is a high-energy competition where teams race against the clock to answer as many maths questions correctly as they can in 30 minutes.

Congratulations to the following students who competed in Mathex-

• Year 9: Connor Aitken, James Blackledge, Blake Butler, Benjamin Dykes, Matilda Otter-Lowe, Paras Patel, Lola Porter, Anisha Yadav.
• Year 10: Madison Bryant, Jordan Kern, Imogen Lee-Phillips, Kevin Lim, Ilyaas Noor, Lucy Sinclair.

All our students did very well and should be proud of their efforts and results!
