Our Year 10 Shine students from 10Piha and 10Muriwai have been working towards the Young Reporters for the Environment competition over the past term. Students had to create an article about an environmental issue to compete in this writing event. 

Students have been working hard to identify, investigate, and analyse pressing environmental issues impacting our future. Under the theme of 'Litter Less' they developed their own investigative articles exploring important challenges their generation faces all the while, practising their formal writing skills.
