During weeks 04 and 05, Year 09 Digital Technology (09DGT) students were using image editing software to create digital outcomes based on ideas around waste and waste management. The United Nations "Sustainable Development Goals” (SDG) were used to influence their designs. The SDGs are used throughout the 09DGT course as a way of getting students to engage with important global issues like sustainable cities and communities, climate action, gender equality, and responsible consumption and production.

During the last couple of weeks, they have also been introduced to Micro:bits, MakeCode & Computational Thinking, as an introduction to designing and making their own 80’s style arcade game.
