Part of Mrs Wade's role is to engage with local schools and groups testing the waters, and learning about the trees and organisms found in and around the streams.
Mrs Wade taught students about all the different species that can be found in the local Te Wao Nui o Tiriwa (Waitākere Ranges). It was exciting seeing all the amazing native species that are local to our school and being able to identify the pests that threaten them. 

Project Twin Streams (PTS) is large scale environmental restoration project that works collaboratively to engage West Auckland communities around restoring the streams in their local neighbourhoods.
