Leah McGrath and Taiyang Tipene participated in the Firstcuts Icehouse Ventures Evening as YES guests and had a valuable opportunity to connect with successful individuals under 30 in the start-up community.
The evening commenced with an exciting networking session, providing a platform for students to engage and establish valuable connections with accomplished individuals who have made significant contributions to the business world. The event featured an insightful "on the couch Q&A" session with founders, offering a unique chance for students to listen to and learn from these visionary entrepreneurs. This experience proved to be both inspiring and educational, providing invaluable insights into the journeys and wisdom of successful founders.
A notable highlight of the event was the "Preparing Your Pitch" workshop, where students further developed their presentation skills and learned effective techniques to communicate their ideas.
To conclude the evening, a delightful dinner was held at the marketing agency, Previously Unavailable. Students had the privilege of enjoying delicious food while engaging in meaningful conversations with professionals.
We applaud Leah and Taiyang for participating in the Firstcuts Icehouse Ventures Evening as Young Enterprise participants. We take pride in their involvement and eagerly anticipate their continued growth in the field of entrepreneurship.
YES is committed to supporting commerce departments in schools and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit within students. We aspire to provide them with the necessary tools and experiences to thrive in the ever-evolving business landscape.
