Maia Masters attended the Auckland Secondary School Athletics Championships at Trusts Stadium on Wednesday 5th April after qualifying from her excellent performances at the Central/West Zone Athletic Champs.
Competing superbly again, Maia won the Long Jump to become the Auckland Secondary School Intermediate Girls Long Jump Champion.
Maia jumped a personal best of 5.11m to win the event.
Maia also ran a personal best of 12.62 in the 100m final to claim silver and become the second fastest Intermediate Girl from all Auckland Secondary schools. She also finished 4th in Auckland for the 200m.
Well done Maia, outstanding results. The school is very proud of your achievements.
