We farewell our new friends from Japan and Germany
Term 1 has been such an exciting and busy term for the International Department. Last weekend we said goodbye to students from Nara Ikuei High School, Yamate Gakuin Junior High School, Kumon Kokusai Junior High School, Tokyo City University Junior High School, Notre Dame Jogakuin Junior and Senior High School, Kyoritsu Second High and Junior School as they returned to Japan.
This weekend we are saying goodbye to more friends returning to Japan. Students from Tokyo Seitoku Junior High School, Kobe Gakuin University High School and Seibu Bunri High School are all heading home.
Christian from Germany is also leaving this weekend after having an awesome Term 1 with us.
The students all tell us how much they have enjoyed their time here. They have learned a lot and improved their English. They've also done lots of sightseeing adventures with their friends and homestay families. However, one thing stands out as an absolute highlight for these students. It is the amazing friendships they have made, especially with their Kiwi Buddies. The words "friends for life" have been used to describe these special bonds.
They take wonderful memories home and leave us with wonderful memories of their time here.
