Following on from the recent story on Maia's success in the Auckland (junior) champs ... 

Representing Auckland in the Under 16 grade at the New Zealand Track & Field Championships held in Wellington, Maia placed in the top four nationally in three individual events (100 metres, 200 metres and long jump), while running a key leg for the gold medal-winning Auckland team in the 4 x 100 metre relay, Maia's team setting an Auckland record in the 14G grade (subject to ratification).
