90 Year 12 and 13 Business Studies students attended the Young Enterprise Scheme Kickstart at the Victory Convention Centre.
Our students joined around seven hundred other students from eleven other schools for the event, which was the final one of five for the week in Auckland alone.
Kickstart signifies the commencement of establishing the student's businesses for the year. On the day students were taken through the process of ideation and then assessing the strengths and weaknesses of their products.
Students also obtained important information from two speakers, giving specialised advice on sustainability, and investigating recycling and transforming an existing item for their product. The second speaker advised students on the importance of marketing themselves, their businesses and their products emphasising the storytelling and networking.
It was a great day for all students who are already immersed in their business ideas and establishing their marketing plan for the year.
