Year 11 student, Maia Masters competes for our locally-based Waitākere City Athletic Club. Maia won 3 gold medals at the recent Auckland (junior) track & field championships - the 100m and 200m sprints and the long jump in the 14 year old girls' grade, a significant achievement.
 
Maia has been selected to represent Auckland as an under-16 at the New Zealand track & field championships in Wellington which will be underway as this newsletter is published.
