Dentsu is one of the world’s leading advertising and marketing businesses. Dentsu Auckland conducted a 10-week program named The Code, with a group of year 12 Business students teaching them aspects of the advertising and marketing industry.
This was conducted from a client brief based on the issue of FOOD WASTE and how we can prevent 157 MILLION TONNES of food waste costing each household on average $1,520! This is just in Aotearoa alone each year.
The students moved through the processes of compiling ideas, selecting the main ideas correlating to their target market and client, all the way through to the final production of an advertising/marketing campaign to prevent food waste.
These students attended Dentsu's offices this week for a morning tea, a tour, speakers from the different areas, and their awards for 1st and 2nd place. Group Scappy took out first place each winning an Ipad Air and keyboard attachment and Operation Green were awarded second place receiving a prezzi card each.
Congratulations to all students who took part in this fantastic learning opportunity.
