It has been so impressive to watch the students in Mrs Brown -Hawkes' Soft Materials Technology class gain confidence and develop skills in threading and using the sewing machines. Anyone who sews will understand that the sewing machine can be a joy to use and very frustrating! The students have taken this on while exemplifying manawanui, perseverance and resilience! I am excited to see what they will produce and know now they have mastered the machine!
