Noho a Tau students are this weeks winners!
Nominated by Whaea Sam
This group of students did an amazing job of bringing their Waitakere Way with them to their marae stay in Ahipara. Taking 48 students away for a week is a big task but these students made it easy by supporting each other to look after their marae space, getting involved with the learning opportunities, and building strong connections with each other. We learnt an important saying from Poroa, a tūpuna off the area; kia ū ki te whakapono, kia aroha tētahi ki tētahi - hold firm to what you believe and love one another. These students did a great job to demonstrate this whakataukī on our trip.
