10B are an enthusiastic group, and over the last couple of weeks, I have watched as, in English, they have begun to knuckle down, settle into our routines and really start getting that mahi done! 

Every period we complete a literacy-focused DO NOW, and they are beginning to show sufficient growth in their understanding of the literary items we have covered. They have anticipated their next steps well and are beginning to work through the tasks before I have to ask or push them. The overall theme of this class has been "getting it done", and I have been impressed with their ethic over the last couple of weeks.
