9P have exceeded my expectations during a recent group task. For this task, they needed to create a Jack Daw Folder - a collection of primary sources - which demonstrated their understanding of perspectives towards migration. They did an amazing job at identifying and describing the perspective of the Government and their specific group of migrants. It is not always easy putting yourself in the shoes of a group you do not identify with.
Well done 9P! It has been great watching your critical thinking skills develop and I loved having the opportunity to do something more creative with you.

9P has had an excellent week in Science. They have been focused and attentive while learning how to use a microscope and have produced some excellent slides of onion skin cells. They have shown manawanui while trying to focus the microscopes and managed to take some excellent photos of their own slides and example slides.
