Service Academy Level 2/3 is built on the ethos and values of our New Zealand Defence Force - commitment, comradeship, courage and integrity. 

The Level 2 Service Academy is for students who can benefit from direction, structure and personal discipline, and for those serious about joining uniformed services. The aim of the programme is to foster skills that enable students to take a positive role in society. Students in this Academy attend specialist classes in-school, and participate in various off site activities.

The Level 3 Service Academy purpose is to prepare students for entry into uniformed services like Police, NZ Defence Force, Security and Customs. Students in this Academy attend specialist classes in-school, and participate in various off site and overnight activities. Service Academy students should expect to undergo regular physical training including marching drills.

The Service Academies have been established with the support of The Ministry of Social Development, The Ministry of Education and the New Zealand Defence Force.
