The Gateway Programme is a course offered by the Vocational Pathways department to senior students (Years 11-13) that meet the Waitākere Way prerequisites.
 
This is a nationally recognised programme designed to strengthen the pathway for students from school to work through structured workplace learning.  Students will be involved in a formal learning arrangement and will be guided on the assessment work involved in this programme. The prerequisites for entry will involve classroom work achievement, attendance and self-management in Gateway and across their mainstream classes.
