As a winner of a 2016 Young Enterprise Scheme award, Yr 13 student Tyrone Taylor was invited to introduce one of six prestigious inductions to the NZ Business Hall of Fame - George Methven, whose company is still going strong 131 years after he founded it in Dunedin, and it’s still producing award-winning products.
Governor General Dame Patsy Reddy was present to induct the six laureates to the NZ Business Hall of Fame, and to congratulate the winners of the Young Enterprise Trust's programme in schools, which focuses on developing entrepreneurial skills.
The event was held at the Langham Hotel in Auckland on July 27th 2017, and was a great experience for Tyrone as one of our outstanding Business Studies students.
