Waitakere College year 12 and year 13 students will be able to reflect on their academic results both as individuals and as year groups at our Achievers Assembly on Thursday, 9 March 2017 at 6.30pm in the Jackson Auditorium.
Our academic achievement in the NZQA exams in Level 1 and Level 2, show us being above the National Averages in all categories as shown in the table.
|NCEA||2016 PASS RATES||
|Level 1 – Year 11||90%||48||30|
|Level 2 – Year 12||90%||47||18|
This is a great reflection of the work that teachers, students and families have invested in achievement for all our students.
Our NCEA Academic Scholarship results are also very pleasing with 6 students gaining scholarships which gives them a great platform for their University studies.

Our students are in a school community which has high expectations to be the best they can be. We see this in our continued improvement in academic results.
We will celebrate this with students / family / and whanau at the Achievers Assembly, but also work with our students this year to maintain these results and improve them.
